Accounting & Finance Officer
We are an innovative, fast-growing software company building ERP solutions for the maritime industry. We are looking for an Accounting & Finance Officer who will fully own the company’s financial and accounting operations end-to-end, and who understands the incentive/grant and corporate-development dynamics of an R&D company.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in technology, software, Technopark, or R&D companies
- Solid command of Turkish tax legislation (Tax Procedure Law, VAT, Corporate/Income Tax, stamp duty) and current regulatory changes
- Hands-on experience with e-Invoice, e-Ledger, and e-Declaration processes
- Proven hands-on experience with Logo accounting software (required)
- Practical knowledge of R&D / TUBITAK / government incentive and grant procedures (strong plus)
- Experience calculating payroll and fringe benefits independently, including attendance/timesheet tracking (no separate HR department)
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills
- Good command of English, able to prepare and report financials to an international parent/stakeholders
- For male candidates: military service completed or exempt (no pending obligation)
- SMMM license or completed traineeship is an advantage
- Analytical, detail-oriented, discreet with confidential data, and comfortable owning processes independently
Job Description
Accounting & financial affairs
- Set up, maintain, and improve the accounting system on Logo; adapt acquired/transferred accounting processes into the existing system
- Control and audit legal documents and accounting records
- Prepare and review tax declarations (beyanname)
- Perform e-Invoice and e-Ledger controls
- Manage fixed-asset movements and records
Finance, cash, payables & receivables
- Produce financial reporting and management reports
- Run cash-flow forecasting and planning; secure funding when needed
- Manage banking relationships and resource planning (credit, risk analysis)
- Manage investments and expenses
- Track payables and receivables end-to-end; prepare and follow supplier payment plans and customer collection plans
- Execute tax and statutory payments, not only preparing the declarations but making the actual payments on time
- Control and process employee expenses and payments
Cost & reporting
- Prepare project- and effort-based cost reports
- Produce cost tables and recharge (reflection) invoices for shared work with our design company
Payroll & personnel (in-house)
- Independently calculate and process payroll and fringe benefits, including attendance/timesheet tracking. There is no separate HR department, so this role owns it fully
Incentives, R&D & grants
- Track and manage TUBITAK incentives and their processes
- Handle the additional procedures required as an R&D company
- Prepare and follow up government incentive/grant applications
- Manage Technopark collaborations and related processes
Corporate development & program applications
- Manage the Tubisad Scale Up program end-to-end, from application to conclusion
- Handle Turcorn applications and jury-evaluation work
- Prepare and follow up TOBB 100 and Deloitte Fast 50 applications
- Handle trademark and patent filings directly, without intermediaries
Contract & compliance
- Manage contracts, including tax and legal review/approval follow-ups
- Track updated legislation and manage processes accordingly
- Support the sales team in public tenders
